On the top of Taipei

I took these photographs from the top of Asia’s tallest building, Taipei 101. It’s height is impressive 508 metres and it was officially ranked as the tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010. Taipei 101’s elevator ascends 1010 meters per minute (16.83 m/s) and the most amazing thing about it is that you don’t feel the speed when you’re going up. I had to queue up for quite a while to get to the top of the building, but the impressive views on top made it worth the wait. Taipei 101 is a must-see if you ever visit Taipei.
