Panthera leo

On my trip to Kanchanaburi I also visited the Safari Park. I can guess that it must pale in comparison to the “real” safaris in Africa etc. but it was still a cool experience to see some amazing animals from such a short distance.

This huge lion was enjoying the shade next to a safari ranger’s car and wasn’t bothered by the people passing by in their cars/buses. At one point the ranger was combing it’s mane. Such a cool and majestic animal!
