Green Metalwing

After all the trekking in the jungle we stopped by this stream to have lunch. There were plenty of butterflies around but this spectacular looking little creature caught my eye. This is a Green Metalwing (Neurobasis chinensis).

  1. 100 percent amazing! How did you manage to take those pictures and this “thing” did not fly.. away?

    • Thanks! I managed to take these pictures by being patient and just taking plenty of shots. This insect didn’t stay in place for long but it did stay around this stream flying around and landing here and there so I was able to get these shots.
