Reaching for the Stars

I had been itching to get back into star trail photography for quite a while already. As soon as I saw this dead tree I knew that if the night sky will be clear enough to see stars I’ll have a go at it. I’m very glad how the top one with a 10 minute exposure turned out. The bottom one isn’t as good but I still wanted to show it as it has a ~36 minute exposure. I guess this location had simply too much ambient light for the longer exposure to be successful.
